Are you voting for Barack Obama or considering voting for Barack Obama? If so, have you taken the time to read his Plan for America? If not, why not? In it, he describes what his plan for America. Don't you think that you should read what he wants to do before you vote for him? I read his plan and here is what I think about it.
In a nutshell, Barack Obama's plan for America offers no new change for America. It offers an accelerated version of what has been happening in the past which has led us to the point in history we are today. It offers more big government and more attacks on business. Business is nothing more than you and I. Governments of past, present, and future have sought to tie the hands of business to serve their political master's whims. This has always led to poorer nations, less freedoms, and more tyranny. That, in a nutshell is why I cannot vote for Barack Obama and why you shouldn't vote for him either, even though he seems like a charming man. His policies of more, bigger, and stronger government will hurt you, your family, your freedoms, and your wallet. I do not pretend that voting for the Republican Party is much better. I am only attempting to explain Barack's plan and why I cannot vote for him because of what he proposes in his plan.
WHAT BARACK SAYS: "I am in this race to tell the corporate lobbyists that their days of setting the agenda in Washington are over. I have done more than any other candidate in this race to take on lobbyists and won. They have not funded my campaign, they will not get a job in my White House, and they will not drown out the voices of the American people when I am president."
WHAT HE FAILS TO SEE: He only promises to tell corporate or business lobbyists to stay away. Who makes up business? You and I make up business. We own the stocks. We work for the businesses. The businesses are really in Washington lobbying for you and I. If he wishes to kick out corporate lobbyists, then he is fundamentally saying that he won't listen to you and I. There are other lobbyists besides corporate lobbyists. There are non-profit lobbyists. Will he instead choose to listen to only them? What about lobbyists for such organizations as MoveOn.Org or other quasi-liberal organizations such as this that aren't corporate lobbyists? There will always be lobbyists in Washington D.C. as long as the federal government doles out goodies. If Senator Obama refuses to listen to business, then he will lock out a large portion of America and I am assuming that he, instead, will be listening to other lobbyists that do not have the best interests of Americans, their families, and the economy at heart. Instead he will listen to the environmental lobbyists and other left-leaning lobbyists. He only targets a particular group of lobbyists, corporate lobbyists with his socialist venom. Ironically, out of the three entities of corporate lobbyists, non-corporate lobbyists, and government bureaucrats, which group listens to your wants and needs more often than the others. That's right. Corporate lobbyists which work for the businesses that produce the goods and services that make up your wealth. Non-corporate lobbyists don't listen to you as often. When was the last time you heard of an environmental lobbyist being willing to compromise their position for the American economy? They can be highly devoted, dogmatic individuals who believe they know best, jobs be damned. I won't even ask about the bureaucrats. We all know how responsive they can be? With a Congress currently suffering with an approval rating of 15 percent, I don't even need to ask. Government bureaucrats don't listen. But apparently, Barack fails to understand this point. Barack knows best, I guess.
